A space to understand yourself
I offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can slow down, explore what is happening in your life and begin to understand yourself more deeply.
Our work together can help you explore patterns that may be holding you back, understand your emotions, strengthen your self-esteem and reconnect with your own needs, values and aspirations.
Whether you are experiencing burnout, navigating a career or life transition, struggling with seeing your worth or searching for greater meaning in life, you do not need to have all the answers before we begin.
Sometimes, the first step is simply having the space to be seen and heard.
My approach
As a counsellor, I aim to create a therapeutic relationship in which you feel respected, accepted and able to explore your experiences at your own pace. I will not tell you what decisions to make or what your life should look like. Instead, I will support you in discovering what matters to you and finding a way forward that feels authentic.
Therapy is not about becoming someone else. It is about understanding who you are, recognising your strengths and giving yourself permission to consider new possibilities.
My qualifications and how I work
I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Counselling and I am listed on the Society Register with Accredited Registrant Membership with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
I am committed to ongoing professional development and to offering counselling that is ethical, reflective, and centred on you, your experiences and your individual needs.
I understand that reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step. You do not need to have all the answers or know exactly where to begin. We can start wherever you are, taking things one step at a time and at a pace that feels right for you.
Depending on your needs, we may explore:
-
Anxiety and stress: Emotional exhaustion or burnout.
-
Self‑esteem and confidence: Feeling undervalued, perfectionism, and fear of failure.
-
Core beliefs: How you see yourself, including beliefs that may be holding you back or making it difficult to move forward.
-
Coping mechanisms and behaviour patterns: Ways of managing that may no longer serve you, and healthier ways to respond to difficult emotions and situations.
-
Life and career transitions: Identity, change, and uncertainty about the future.
-
Values and meaning: Your personal values, sense of purpose, ideas of success, and what makes your life feel meaningful.
-
Boundaries and relationships with others: People‑pleasing, seeking validation, and learning to set and maintain boundaries.
-
Attachments and relationships: How you relate to others and how these patterns may impact your wellbeing.
